Following the critically acclaimed Engine RTA series is the OBS V Sub-Ohm Tank, an atomizer that is compatible with SMOK’s TFV8 Cloud Beast Coil family.
The OBS V has a 25.5mm diameter with a design reminiscent of previous tanks such as the OBS Crius. The V Sub-Ohm Tank also comes with a top side fill system which allows the users to refill e-liquid by simply sliding the top cap.
A remarkable feature of this atomizer is that it has a 5.2ml capacity, which is far more than what other contenders in its class can hold.
The atomizer kit comes with a V4, V8, and V12 coil head, which caters to different power ranges. As a matter of fact, you can fire the V4 coil at more than 200 watts, which is basically above what most dual-battery regulated mods can handle. To fully enjoy your vaping experience with the V4 coil, we would suggest that you use a powerful mod like the Reuleaux RX300.
One amazing thing about the OBS V Sub-Ohm tank is its quad 3.5mm adjustable air holes, which can offer a various range of airflow options. Whether you like it really tight or a bit loose would be up to you.
With its large capacity and versatility, we’d say that the OBS V Sub-Ohm Tank is worth purchasing, though if you are a serious cloudchaser, a dripper or an RDTA might be better for you. We are also a bit disappointed with how it looks. The OBS Engine was a huge step forward in design, but we were puzzled as to why the V Tank looks more like an old school Crius.
